Introducing Pablo Lobato

01Back in the 90’s I had the privilege to meet one of my today’s favorite illustrators in the world, Pablo Lobato. We studied together at the visual communication design program in the National University of La Plata, Argentina. After many years, we are in contact again (thanks to Facebook, one positive thing among many bad).

After working as a designer for a while Pablo went back to his first passion: illustrating. He has become one of the most innovative portrait illustrators, his work has been published in Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Boston Globe, Time, Globe & Mail among many others.

Same as I did with Betina Naab, I promised myself trying to bring Pablo Lobato to visit us sometime in the future (fingers crossed).
