More hypocritical issues for designers: localwashing

Last winter term, students from DES494 explored and detected interesting cases of hypocritical design in products, some of them clear examples of “greenwashing”. 98% of green labeled products are greenwashed. Still, a new category arises resulted from never lasting corporate’s manipulation and design’s complicity: “localwashing”. Find out more in the links below.
