March Green Session: UofA Campus Sustainability

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010, 5:30-7:30pm

NREF 1003

What is happening at the University of Alberta with regards to sustainability and what can you do to contribute?

As environmental degradation and climate change become increasingly recognized as major global issues, universities have an important role to play in the solutions for our future. As microcosms of the larger community, universities should be a model for the type of world we hope to live in. Universities train our next generation of leaders, providing them with the knowledge and values they will take into their future careers. Universities also have access to a wide range of knowledge and expertise, making it a great place for creative innovation and out of the box thinking.

Anyone is welcome. Come learn more about campus sustainability and enjoy great discussion and FREE snacks! To RSVP to this event, please email Louise at ecos@su.ualberta.ca by no later than Monday, March 22nd, 2010. Please include your first and last name in your RSVP.
