DES 135 design fundamentals, project 3.1: Introduction to Typography, “finding and shooting the alphabet” was introduced in my courses in early 2009, and implemented later by other design courses too. Due to the successful results and the rich learning process involved, it has been part of my teaching for typography since then. This year for DES 135 I’m introducing a new version of it: “Finding, shooting and composing with the right letters”
